Tuesday Morning Home Bible Study

Karin & Bernd Flock

• Pray that we get over jet-lag quickly.
• Pray for Heidi & the children during these last months before Jeff returns from Afghanistan. Being a Marine Wife and Mom is not an easy choice!
• Pray for Kati as she and the family cope with her illness.
• Pray as we go through the Alpha Marriage Course material (thanks Stellis!) to see if we could put it to use here. Our initial plan is to use it personally, in living rooms, so to speak. There are many couples who have asked us for follow-up on the marriage preparation we did with them.
• Pray for SALTS. We are offering a SALTS group starting within the next couple months. Bernd is going to do a major part of the Bible teaching in Plenum before we break up into 2 groups. Karin will co-lead a group. This is a new approach for us. We’re especially thankful that a TEAM of co-leaders, 3 men and 5 women, has developed over the past year!
• Student ministry: A first-year student was killed in a car crash just before Christmas. His sister & her husband were critically injured. Pray for the family & the student group. Pray that the Lord uses this reality of life to work in many young lives to bring about commitment to a life of obedience and service.

Susan Robinson

• Please continue to pray for Matt and Candace as their Mom went home to be with the Lord, the week before Christmas. Both of the kids love the Lord. Please pray for peace and comfort for them.
• Please pray also for Coleton and Broderick. These wee ones, learned that their parents are going through a separation. Pray that the kids would not be caught in the middle of this sad situation.
• Praise God for His faithfulness. I am so grateful for each of you and for all your love, encouragement and support. I had a good year end financially. God has continued to bless me through you.

• Upstairs neighbours were touched by the message of a visiting evangelist · answered prayer – downstairs neighbours – able to share the gospel with them (both very ill in 70s)
• 2 young women have started a ministry with women in Mureck.
• Thank you for our continued support – 28 years in Austria

• Please pray for the Howes Family. Karen has had cancer for a while and she went home to be with the Lord Wednesday morning. Please pray for her children (Candace & Matt) especially, during this difficult time. Her husband has been amazing and so supportive. Please pray for strength for Richard.
• I have to get a 30 cm mass checked out on my leg but the doctor’s think that this will be clear as well. My leg never went down in swelling after my Stinging Nettle episode.
• I would love your continued prayers. I have this rash all over my body. It’s terribly itchy and absolutely raw. I have been in the woods cutting down some pine limbs. Pine is no good for your skin, apparently.
• Please continue to pray for the work here. With Christmas just around the corner, many youth are experiencing significant sadness. Many do not have a family to spend Christmas with  also several youth have to choose which parent to spend Christmas with.
• Pray that our young people will find Peace this Christmas

  Parents: Drivers may be needed.
  If you only want to come for Drop-in OR if there is NO snow, come directly to the church at 5:30 p.m.

As you know, each Christmas we have taken a special offering for our missionaries – Susan Robinson, working with the youth in Tillsonburg and Karin Flock – working with University students in Austria.
